I saw your show for the first time (I was visiting my son in SF...he has a different cable co.) and saw you prepare stuffed cabbage with a lemon cream sauce. I didn't copy the recipe because I thought I'd get ie from your website. I can't find it anywhere. I would buy one of your cookbooks but the recipe doesn't seem to be there. I went out and bought savoy cabbage (as you suggested) and now there's no recipe. Please help!

Basmati rice, even brown basmati cooks a bit faster than regular long or short grain brown. That said, I love the nutty flavor of basmati and rarely mix it with any other rice, grain or pasta. Thanks for watching and writing!

I was wondering if Basmati rice falls into the category that you are referring to? I use a rice cooker to cook it for my family.

I love your show.

That would be white rice that is enriched and excludes rice that is parboiled or converted. Some people just don't care for brown rice so it's good to know that white is fine and that the mix of brown and white is even better! I imagine if requested this might be an item that could be available in mainstream markets. Thanks Rae for writing!

Is the white rice higher in folic acid because it is enriched, or is it higher in that B vitamin naturally? By the way, my green grocer/deli sells brown rice mixed with wild rice, and it is so good. I wonder if that is available elsewhere?
